Thorough research and then a convincing manifesto, representing points of view and states of affairs. For instance for the federation of nanolaboratories in the Netherlands. Or compact and appealing brochures: I made them for the Department of Pathology at the vu University Medical Centre, the Netherlands Initiative for Education Research, iclon (Leiden University Graduate School of Teaching) and nwo (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research), among others.
